Pronunciation: a key question

Why and how to teach pronunciation?
That is a troublesome issue for many teachers who find that only repetition doesn´t help.
Try showing them examples of misunderstandings due to bad pronunciation.
Here is an example.




Provide them with the lyrics and work on /i/ and /i:/eg: give/live/leaving and on examples of assimilation as in withoutyou, letyou go and hadyou there.
